As the result of poor workmanship, the crease in the door of this Camaro convertible does not align with the crease in the front fender. These reproduction panels didn’t align, so they were cut up and made to align.
From the side it looks worse. You can see how the door gap widens as it gets lower and that the swage line in the door does not align with the fender.
The same fender looks low in comparison to the door top. Some less-than-satisfactory repair work has been performed here.
Removal of the paint and an abundance of Bondo revealed a very scary but typical poor repair. Note: This is the same door shown above.
